Dr. Stevenson is a composer and chamber musician with long-standing ties to musicians in Central Oregon. She is the composer of Bend Pops Orchestra’s commissioned piece, Return to Joy, which the Pops will premiere at their spring concert on Sunday, June 7.
Dr. Stevenson has also received commissions locally from the Central Oregon Symphony and the Cascade Horizon Band, and her chamber pieces have been widely played by Central Oregon Symphony musicians in their Music in Public Places concerts.
