On Tuesday, June 2, Dr. Jennifer Stevenson gave a masterclass in composition and arrangement, open to the community. People of all levels of musical ability and interest were welcomed, and all came away having learned something! Dr. Stevenson demonstrated how her creative process works, what things to keep in mind while working with a piece, and how even seemingly “bad” ideas can contribute to creating music!
