Several small ensembles from the Bend Pops Orchestra entertained holiday shoppers at the Bend Barnes & Noble bookstore on Saturday, December 21. Groups included a string quartet (Lenore Gilbert and Bonnie Dalton on violin, Mary Thompson on viola, and Chetty McClean on cello), a mixed string trio (Lenore and Bonnie on violin, with Katie Eberhart on accordion), and a mixed flute trio (Lisa Hakesley and Jan Reeves on flute with Bonnie on violin). The groups played for four hours as other Bend Pops members were on hand to gift wrap patrons packages as a Pops fundraiser.
