Caldera High School has another event planned for this October 29 so there will be no Pops rehearsal that evening. Instead, we reserved Aspen Hall (near Shevlin Park) and we’re turning it into a social event. Bring your instruments for some musical shenanigans!
We plan on playing Brandenburg Concerto No.2. together in a zero pressure environment. It’s completely ok to show up and sight-read. There are a few parts missing for some of our orchestra instruments but we can help transpose other parts so that everyone is included.
After B2, we would love to have a few small ensembles serenade us while we enjoy the refreshments. If anyone is interested, please let Stacey or Anne Devan-Song know so we can plan ahead. This is your chance to play that piece you’ve always wanted to try in a room full of supportive people.
