Bend Pops Orchestra holds its winter concert Sunday, March 17.  Join Bend Pops Orchestra for an afternoon of great music!

The program features two of Robert Sheldon’s original compositions, the celebratory and exhilarating Resurgences, and Appalachian Morning, a lyrical expression paying homage to the Scottish and Irish pioneers. Also included are familiar favorites, Michael Kamen’s Band of Brothers, Merle Isaac’s arrangement of Two South American Tangos, Elmer Bernstein’s The Magnificent Seven, Warrior Legacy, a heroic melody by Soon Hee Newbold, and classical staples, Themes from Rimsky-Korsakov’s symphonic suite “Scheherazade” and Richard Meyer’s arrangement of Egmont Overture by Beethoven.  Great music for the whole family, with home-baked treats at intermission!
